GREAT ANIMAL HOSPITAL
I just moved to the area from N.Y. My dog became sick and needed a Vet in a hurry.
I called Boca Delray Animal Hospital and found that they were friendly, helpful and got my dog in right away. The doctor knew what was wrong with my dog without all the tests that he could have done. My dog was back to his old self in a day. I found their prices reasonable and their service the best I have ever recieved. I highly recommend this Animal Hospital. They are the best I have ever found.

Bad service
I brought my dog into Boca-Delray Animal Hospital initially from complications from bee stings. The office was much closer than my regular vet and I felt that I needed emergency services. At that time I felt good about the experience so when I was looking to transfer from my old vet to a new one Ithat was closer, of course thouht of Boca-Delray Animal Hospital. Without going into too much detail I had a disagreement with a nurse about getting a refill presription that my dog regularly takes. I had just had her blood levels checked at my previous vet and they wanted me to have this done again before giving me another prescription. The nurse also was looking at an old record and insisted to me that my dog needed other shots too. She argued wtih me. The nurse went back to speak to the vet several times and came back only to argue with me more. After asking to see the vet to discuss the issues, he didn't even have the respect to come talk to me briefly. I stated that I guess that I would have to transfer back to my old vet. As I was leaving the nurse yelled that she would be closing my file (without even asking)! I left very upset.
I just called to get her rabies vaccine, that I had done there, faxed to my old vet and the woman on the phone came back saying very rudely that the actual vet had closed the file and that it would take awhile to find it to fax. I thought that someone would be upset that they were losing a client but they were not. That is why I wrote this and wanted to share my very distrubing and upsetting experience with Boca-Delray Animal Hospital. I would add my identity but I'm still waiting for them to fax the report.

The Vet, Lisa K. Ciucci, does not know what she is doing. Wet behind the ears still, a ROOKIE, and it cost my cat her life. Filing a formal complaint to the Florida Veterinary Board against this "Vet" and I hesitate to use the word vet to describe her. I really want to sue them is what I want to do for wrongful death. You've been warned.

They are caring and friendly and my dogs are happy there.
I also use their grooming services since I have 2 Poms. Best grooms they ever had. The groomer greets me when I arrive and takes my phone number in case there are any questions. They really care!

She is always happy to see them, and it is obvious that they really care about the animals that go there. I have witnessed the staff dealing with extremely difficult clients and they remained professional and non judgemental throughout the conversation.
